Milly & Martha
A gorgeous seaside chic cottage tucked away down a little lane in the beautiful village of Perranuthnoe.
The cottage has been lovingly restored and beautifully finished to a high spec. Each room is a delight. The large kitchen dining room is the perfect place for long, lazy breakfasts followed by a move to the sunny lobby to read the papers.
A short stroll to the beach for the day, cake from the Peppercorn Café and then back to Trenow for an al fresco dinner. Then perhaps retire to your cosy living room with your glass of wine in front of the wood burning stove and a quick trip around the corner to the fabulous Victoria Inn.
Saturday changeover, flexible in low season
Short breaks available
2 bedrooms / 1 bathroom
Sea glimpses from upstairs
Wood burning stove
Walking distance to beach & pub
Regret no pets
Perranuthnoe is just wonderful. It is a small village with its own large, family friendly beach. There are a couple of delightful cafes serving scrumptious cakes, an award winning local pub which is reputedly one of the oldest in Cornwall (literally around the corner) and a gallery or two.
It is just a short (5 minute) drive (or a bit longer coastal walk) to Marazion and the infamous and picturesque St Michael’s Mount. There are tonnes of other beaches all within a half hour drive – we recommend Cape Cornwall (St Just), Porthleven, St Ives, Praa Sands and Godrevy.
2 minutes walk to the pub and 5 minutes walk to the beach
Victoria Inn’s evening meals
Short drive from Cornish landmarks
From the door walk down the road, with views of St Michael's Mount and down to the gorgeous Trenow Cove. The cove is best at low tide and is great for children to explore. The cottage shares its name with the cove and the farm above where the cottage owners once lived.
Stay down on the beach until others have gone home and enjoy the tranquillity around a BBQ with a glass of wine.
Head down the coast to Porthcurno and its stunning white sandy beach and coincide with a trip to the iconic Minack Theatre dug out of the cliffs above.
Wonderful walks from the door
Secret coves to explore
Breakfast at the Peppercorn cafe
To the front of the cottage is a small south facing terraced area with seating for al fresco dining. Perfect for an evening glass of wine whilst the sun goes down or why not have a breakfast BBQ – just because you can!
The beach is just a few minutes stroll down the road.
Literally a minute around the corner is the award winning Victoria Inn.
What more could you ask for!

Walk into the lovely lobby where there is a perfect little nook basking in the sun. Head through into the spacious kitchen dining area and you will find a well sized table. Of course the kitchen is very well equipped. The cosy living room has plush sofas, perfect for snuggling up in front of the wood burning stove with a glass of wine, a movie or your holiday read.
Upstairs you will find a fab contemporary bathroom with walk in shower (it's an amazing rain shower with a normal additional shower attachment too). Both bedrooms have that wonderful feeling of luxury with white linen, fluffy towels and beautiful glimpses of the sea from the front. The front bedroom can be either a twin or 6 foot double. Extremely well cleaned with a good first impression and the whole ambience of the property exceeded our expectations. Decor generally, window blinds, pictures etc, all were excellent. Our favourite day was all having a super pasty (from St Ives) for lunch on a wooden bench at Pendeen lighthouse on our first day (March sunny day), out of the wind, watching the boats. Hyde - March 2015
We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Cornwall. The property and location paid a large part in that. Henghan - September 2015
Voted as one of the top 10 holiday homes for under £1000 in the UK in the Telegraph.
Please change nothing at this cottage, we will stay again! May 2015
