Milly & Martha
A cottage on the banks of Cowlands Creek, near to Coombe, with views of the river, nestled between woodland and the boating & canoeing waters of the River Fal, conveniently located close to both Truro & Falmouth. A unique place to stay and explore the woods and the water, or sit by the fire with a book and enjoy the view.
'Despite all the tastes, activities & outings, what the kids loved best was hanging out at the cottage. The jetty soon became a focus of enjoyment, with crabbing & fishing a hit (crablines included with the house). The River Fal had us all under its spell. We will definitely be heading back to Cornwall's south coast.' Jane Anderson, Editor, Family Traveller Magazine, 2015.

Cycle the Bissoe trail (try out some of the more extreme mountain bike trails) from Devoran to Porthtowan, stop at the Blue Bar for lunch, and enjoy a well deserved early evening drink in the sun at The Old Quay Inn when you’re back.

The property was in fact spotless, the young couple making it ready were so helpful and obliging on our arrival it gave our holiday a fantastic start. Everything was so comprehensibly equipped that it is difficult to think of any shortcomings in this area without extremely picky.THE VIEW what can I say ,the outside space helped make the most of it. A highlight was a trip across King Harry Ferry to ST. Mawes and a wonderful seafood lunch at The Watch House. Please keep on doing what you are doing so well. - Norman - September 2016
The view was really amazing and the children loved the garden. Marcus - November 2016
It was lovely and clean. It was a lovely touch to have a welcoming gift of scones, clotted cream, fudge, flowers etc. Highlights - waking up to the stunning view and a walk around from Geevor to Botallack, as we saw a pod of dolphins along the way. Davis Family - September 2016
