An amazing family day out in Cornwall. Kernow Adventure Park is an outdoor adventure centre, set on a secret, freshwater lake sunk deep into the earth between Falmouth and Helston.
With activities on land and water for fun-searchers and a lakeside clubhouse, cafe and bar for the comfort- seekers.
It’s not just the activities that are off the wall, they’ve gone overboard to make sure you’re safe on the lake and the land. When you are on the water, you’re never more than 150 metres from the shore, and there’s always a rescuer nearby, whether on a stand-up paddle board, rescue board or jetski. wetsuits, impact vests and helmets are also standard. And, whether you are relaxing, playing or training hard on land, a first aider will always be on hand throughout the site.
This is the best place to go wakeboarding in Cornwall. It’s the only UK wakeboard centre set on a freshwater lake inside a quarry. With two cables, eight obstacles and top-level coaching you can choose your level of extreme.
You can also enjoy an exhilarating ride on the cable tow systems which are suitable for beginners or for more seasoned riders. Or for further thrills there’s the bouncy castle-style circuit Wipeout at one end of the lake - a 60-metre, floating, inflatable assault course with free-fall slides, trampolines, and narrow, slippery platforms.
