Gull Rock Cabin is the perfect cornish retreat located on a nature reserve with incredible sea views. Sitting above the main house and moments from the coastpath that leads you round to pretty Mullion Cove Harbour, the cabin overlooks dramatic cornish coastline famous for its breeding colonies of kittiwakes, cormorants and guillemots.

Located on The Lizard, this pretty coastal cabin is ideal for exploring the infamous Lizard Penisula with its stunning cliffs & coves . Poldhu Cove, a beautiful family friendly lifeguarded surf beach is a 5 minute drive.

Mullion harbour is sheltered and has a lovely sandy beach at low tide. Mullion Village has two pubs, several restaurants, and shops selling local produce.

Perfect for a romantic escape, a beach holiday with a small family, an active walking or watersport filled break, or for those wishing to have some time to themselves.

There is plenty to do right on the doorstep; exploring the coast path, swimming in secret coves, watching the birds, or enjoying the sun set over Mount's Bay with a glass of wine on the terrace or at the Mullion Cove Hotel.

Mullion village, a short drive away, offers art galleries, gift shops, cafes and, of course, The Chocolate Factory!

There is much more to explore elsewhere on the Lizard with Kynance Cove, Lizard Point, the fishing village of Cadgwith, and the seal sanctuary at Gweek not far away.

Nearest pub 5 minute drive (2 mile walk)

0.5 mile walk to low tide beach and harbour

Look out for dolphins, basking sharks and seals

Watch the sun go down over the sea

Head to nearby Roskilly’s Farm near St. Keverne and try their delicious home-made ice-cream in the café.

Live music in local pubs including folk at The Top House at Lizard on Mondays, and in Cadgwith on Tuesdays; and don’t miss Cadgwith’s version of The Fishermens’s Friends, most Friday nights.

Water sports lessons and equipment hire are available with qualified instructors - kayaking and coasteering at Mullion Cove, surfing at Poldhu Cove, diving at Kennack and windsurfing at Coverack. Kitesurfing lessons or hire can be arranged.

Riding is available from stables in Mullion or nearby Poltesco.

Visit the seals, penguins and otters at the nearby Seal Sanctuary

Set above the main house at Predannack, Gull Rock Cabin has it’s own large garden with picnic table overlooking the coast path, cliffs and The Atlantic Ocean beyond.

 

Arrive via ½ mile of rough track.

Parking for one car.  Additional parking by prior arrangement.

The open plan living area creates a welcoming space in which to sit back and soak up the stunning views.  The comfy sofa & armchair are perfect to recover from a day walking the coast path, on the beach or in the sea.

The beautiful kitchen made from reclaimed timber from the original cabin has been thought out to provide everything you should need.

There is a separate shower room and double bedroom.

The galley kitchen provides all that you should need. An oven, 2 ring hob, fridge with freezer box, microwave, kettle and toaster.

There is a washer/dryer.

There are electric heaters and the chalet is cosy and warm on cooler days.

Location was perfect for having lots of walks and the view was amazing. Sailing and kayaking was my daughters highlights.
